Work at the top of the island
Bokeelia's economy leans on the water, fish houses, charter docks, and the historic pier out into Charlotte Harbor, alongside scattered home builds and palm farms near the end of Stringfellow Road. Marine contractors rebuilding seawalls and boat lifts want a standard unit and a handwashing station right at the staging area, and a pier fishing tournament or a waterfront party runs well on deluxe flushing units.
It's the far end of our island route, so we plan the Bokeelia stop with the rest of Pine Island and bring everything the job needs in one trip.
Setting up near the water
Dock and seawall sites here sit right on the harbor edge, where the ground is soft and space is tight between the water and the road. We keep the truck on the firm drive or a shell pad and place the unit close to the crew without crowding the launch or the lift. On breezy harbor days we set units so the door faces away from the open water.
If a placement lands on the county right-of-way at the road's end, check with the county first, and note a right-of-way or encroachment permit may apply out here.
Seasons, heat, and storms
The winter charter and tournament season fills the docks, and we raise service frequency on the busy public units through those months. Summers are hot and thundery with a genuine storm risk this exposed on the harbor, so after a blow we bring extra units and handwashing stations for the seawall and dock repair crews and keep them serviced tightly.
A quick call gets your Bokeelia stop planned into the island run, and we confirm the placement and the service days before the truck ever leaves the yard.
